Brief History

Since it was founded in 1966, the team immediately posted the best record by an expansion team in NBA history. In the late 1970's an early 80's the Bulls assembled pieces to be competitive but never reached the top. In the summer of 1984, the Bulls grabbed shooting guard Michael Jordan out of the University of North Carolina and things began to change. With new owner Jerry Reinsdorf and General Manager Jerry Krause on board, Michael Jordan redefined the game, rewrote the record book and established himself as the greatest player of all time. He led the bulls to 6 NBA championships in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997 and 1998.
